Elon Musk’s current net worth is $42.8 billion dollars and is now the 23rd wealthiest person on the Forbes 400 list.
His net worth has grown by approximately $20 billion since November 2019 as Telsa stock has increased from $320 to over $900 a share in three months up +183%.
The fuel for this huge growth has been in his ownership stake in Telsa. Musk still owns about 20% of Tesla, approximately 38.6 million shares according to a Feb. 14, 2019 SEC filing.
According to private investors the latest capital round of SpaceX valued it at approximately $33.3 billion. Elon Musk also owns a 54% stake in SpaceX.
Elon Musk continues to solidify his place as the most innovative tech entrepreneur of his generation as he is also one of the most wealthy.
